On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) was signed between PT PLN Indonesia Power and the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). This event took place in the Leadership Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of the Rectorate Building, ITS.
The event was also attended by the Vice Rector IV of ITS and opened with remarks from the ITS Rector. This agreement is part of a collaborative study plan aimed at supporting the development and utilization of the Simgenics Power Plant Operator Training Simulator software for a 400 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant (PLTU). The scope of this collaboration includes training activities, knowledge development, development of learning modules, and competency improvement for operators and training participants.
The signing of the cooperation document was carried out by M. Hanafi Nur Rifa’i, Director of Coal-Fired Power Plant Operations, acting for and on behalf of PT PLN Indonesia Power, and Prof. Ir. Juwari, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., IPM, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Systems Engineering (FT-IRS) ITS.
Before the main agenda, each representative delivered opening remarks, followed by a friendly and informal gathering. The main event, which included the signing of the cooperation document, proceeded smoothly and concluded with a group photo session and lunch.
