[Bojonegoro, 24 April 2026] — The Department of Industry and Trade of East Java Province organized a SKKNI-Based Halal Supervisor Competency Training on 23–24 April 2026 at the “Mliwis Putih” Meeting Room, Bakorwil Bojonegoro Office, Jl. Pahlawan No. 5, Bojonegoro Regency. The activity was attended by 50 participants and was held to enhance the competency of human resources involved in the implementation of the Halal Product Assurance System, as well as to support the successful implementation of halal product assurance and the strengthening of the halal ecosystem in East Java Province.
The training was officially opened by JUDI AQUARIANTO, S.Sos., M.M., Head of the Industrial Human Resource Development Division of the Department of Industry and Trade of East Java Province. On that occasion, he emphasized the importance of strengthening human resource capacity to support the implementation of halal product assurance, which is becoming increasingly strategic for the business sector, particularly in the development of the regional halal industry.
As part of the program, Tekno Sains Academy ITS Job Training Institute for Halal Product Assurance was entrusted to participate as a trainer/resource person. The involvement of PT ITS Tekno Sains is expected to contribute to improving the participants’ understanding, competence, and readiness in carrying out their duties as halal supervisors in accordance with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI).
This training represents one of the strategic steps to strengthen the quality of human resources involved in halal product assurance implementation, both from business actors and other parties related to the implementation of the Halal Product Assurance System. With adequate training and preparation, participants are expected to perform the role of halal supervisors in a professional, measurable, and compliant manner in accordance with applicable regulations.
The implementation of this activity also reflects the synergy between the regional government and institutional partners in building a halal ecosystem that is stronger, more inclusive, and more competitive. Strengthening the capacity of halal supervisors is an important part of supporting business actors’ readiness to fulfill halal product assurance obligations, while also increasing public trust in the products they produce.
Through this activity, the Department of Industry and Trade of East Java Province once again reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the development of the halal industry through human resource strengthening, competency improvement, and collaboration with various stakeholders
