IEEE-ITS APC Program #4

The ITS Library, in collaboration with the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), is organizing an Article Processing Charge (APC) Program for the ITS academic community. The IEEE-ITS APC Program provides subsidies for article publication fees to authors from the ITS academic community to support an increase in the number of open access (OA) publications in IEEE journals.

IEEE-ITS APC Terms and Conditions #4 1. The first author must be an active member of the ITS academic community and must list their ITS affiliation. 2. The Corresponding Author must be affiliated with ITS and use an official ITS email address (e.g., @its.ac.id) 3. Effective as of October 1, 2026. Submissions received via the IEEE payment portal (RightsLink) before October 1, 2026 cannot be processed. 4. Manuscripts must have the status ACCEPTED in an IEEE Journal (https://open.ieee.org/publishing-options/ieee-title-list/). 5. The manuscript has not received APC funding from any other source. 6. Manuscript submissions must follow the official workflow at IEEE Open Access Author Workflow (https://open.ieee.org/for-authors/ieee-open-access-author-workflow/).

Additional Notes & Terms: 1. Program Nature & Token Limits: - This program is non-competitive and operates on a first-come, first-served basis (the total quota available is 10 tokens). - The order of recipient selection is based solely on the timestamp when the approval request is officially submitted to the ITS Library Administrator’s dashboard portal. - Each person is eligible to receive only 1 (one) APC token as the First Author per period. Faculty members/researchers are permitted to serve as the Corresponding Author for more than one manuscript, provided that the First Author for each manuscript is a different individual. 2. Verification of Active Status (PDDikti): - The active status of ITS academic staff (First Author) is verified by the Library Administrator through the PDDikti(https://pddikti.kemdiktisaintek.go.id/) database during the approval process on the IEEE portal. - Manuscripts where the First Author is not registered as active in PDDikti (e.g., students who have graduated or are recent graduates) at the time of verification cannot be processed. 3. Verification Process & Administrator Independence: - The entire technical verification process for the initial manuscript is conducted by IEEE before it enters the administrator approval portal. - The process of approving APC funding by the library administrator is administrative in nature and is not related to the IEEE review or editorial teams. 4. Overlength Page Fees & Additional Fees: - The IEEE-ITS APC scheme covers only standard Open Access publication fees. - If there are overlength page charges, color printing charges, or other additional fees outside the standard IEEE rates, these fees are not covered by this scheme and must be paid directly by the author to IEEE. 5. Quota Transparency: - A list of manuscripts that have been approved and have used APC tokens can be monitored periodically on the official ITS Library website.
