Every Role Has a Story: Mochammad Farid’s Journey at ITS

Surabaya — Every career journey has its own story and challenges. A change in role isn’t just about taking on a different job, but also about having the courage to learn, adapt, and keep growing. This story is the focus of a podcast by the Institute of Technology Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Library titled “From Security to the Library: A Journey of Facing Challenges, Learning New Things, and Taking on Different Responsibilities,” which was broadcast live on the ITS Library’s YouTube channel on Thursday (Oct. 15).

This podcast features Mochammad Farid, a member of the General Administration staff at the ITS Library, as the guest, with Asri Fatihatus Syafira, S.I.Pust., an ITS librarian, as the host. Through this conversation, Farid shares his career journey, from serving as a campus security officer (SKK) to transitioning to a role within the library, where he now holds responsibilities in general administration.

This journey illustrates how work experience in one field can serve as a valuable foundation when someone takes on new responsibilities.
