Guna selesaikan masalah tersebut, empat mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) merancang Hi-Pot, hidroponik multifungsi berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) untuk optimalkan lahan pertanian.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mereka ialah Abdul Rohid, Dewi Sugihartini, Diana Fitriani, dan Djody Rizky Rahman. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ketua tim, Abdul Rohid, memaparkan bahwa ia dan timnya merancang aplikasi Hi-Pot seefisien mungkin dengan mengintegrasikannya dengan <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><em>smartphone<\/em>, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">sehingga pengguna dapat memilih jenis tanaman yang akan ditanam<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beberapa fitur interaktif seperti budidaya tanaman, jenis tanaman, <em>monitoring<\/em>, dan lapak untuk belanja (Hi-Shop) juga dirancang sedemikian rupa untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan penggunanya dalam bercocok tanam melalui media hidroponik.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_73296\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-73296\" style=\"width: 1702px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-73296\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/Screenshot-1172.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1702\" height=\"832\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-73296\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Desain aplikasi Hi-Pot dengan berbagai fitur di dalamnya<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lebih lanjut, mahasiswa angkatan 2021 tersebut menjelaskan, Hi-Pot bekerja dengan menggunakan sistem budidaya tanam secara hidroponik dengan bantuan kamera untuk pengontrolan hama. Tanpa membutuhkan waktu lama, maka Hi-Pot secara otomatis juga akan mengirimkan notifikasi jika kamera mendeteksi bahwa terdapat hama pada tanaman.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sedangkan dalam mendeteksi nutrisi yang terkandung dalam air, timnya menggunakan sensor <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Total Dissolved Solids <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(TDS) serta untuk mendeteksi aliran pipa menggunakan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">flowmeter. <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dalam prosesnya, alat ini akan mengalirkan air dan nutrisi dengan kontroling otomatis sesuai syarat tumbuh optimal jenis tanaman yang dipilih menggunakan aktuator berupa pompa dan <em>servo<\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Keunggulan Hi-pot dari alat sejenis yang sudah ada sebelumnya berada pada pengoptimalan sistem alat dengan desain yang tidak bertumpuk sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan pencahayaan tanaman hidroponik. \u201cKonsistensi jarak tanaman di sini juga dipertimbangkan untuk mengakomodasi pertumbuhan tanamannya,\u201d ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_73297\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-73297\" style=\"width: 1296px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-73297\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/10\/Screenshot-1171.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1296\" height=\"733\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-73297\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><br \/>Desain Hi-Pot, hidroponik serbaguna buatan mahasiswa Teknik Instrumentasi ITS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tim bimbingan dosen Safira Firdaus Mujiyanti ST MT ini telah berhasil meraih juara kedua pada Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah Agrocompetition yang diselenggarakan oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Agronomi Fakultas Pertanian IPB ,\u00a04 Oktober lalu.
