Ketiga pembicara tersebut &nbsp;memberikan kuliah pengembangan infrastruktur dari latar belakang mereka masing masing.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mochammad Basoeki misalnya. Ia menjelaskan tentang tantangan dan perkembangan pembangunan infrastruktur Indonesia. Sedangkan Fwa menjelaskan tentang beberapa studi kasus pengembangan infrastruktur jalanan di Singapura. Kemudian, diikuti oleh Ashanta yang membahasa tentang peranan peneliti dalam meningkatkan keberlanjutan infrastruktur.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Selain menghadirkan kuliah tersebut, ISST juga menerima paper penelitiaan pengembangan transportasi dan infrastruktur, lingkungan, energi, kelautan, manufaktur, pengembangan material, proses industri, penanggulangan bencana, aplikasi teknologi informasi, bioteknologi, sains, dan berbagai topik lainnya.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dijelaskan oleh Endah Wahyuni ST MSc PhD, ketua pelaksana, seminar ini menerima berbagai macam topik yang berhubungan dengan pengembangan berkelanjutan. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Seminar ini terbuka untuk umum, asal topiknya masih berkaitan dengan pengembangan infrastruktur yang berkelanjutan\u00e2\u20ac\u009d terang Endah.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lomba paper tersebut tak tertutup hanya bagi mahasiswa pasca sarjana ITS. Terbukti, terdapat beberapa pemakalah yang berasal dari mahasiswa sarjana dan diploma. Bahkan, terdapat pula beberapa pemakalah dari kampus lain maupun dari perusahaan perusahaan tertentu. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153lomba paper ini terbuka untuk siapa saja yang melakukan penelitian pengembangan teknologi,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tambah Endah.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Paper tersebut akan dimasukkan dalam jurnal IPTEK ITS. Dari jurnal ini, para pemakalah akan mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menaikkan indeks sitasi mereka melalui <em>google schoolars<\/em>. Menariknya, para <em>reviewer<\/em> acara ini tak hanya berasal dari dalam negeri.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Beberapa diantaranya berasal dan Jepang, Malaysia, Australia, Arab, serta beberapa negara lain. Dengan adanya peranan reviewer tersebut, diharapkan para mahasiswa lebih termotivasi untuk memberikan hasil terbaik dalam presentasi maupun pengembangan penelitian selanjutnya.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Diakhir acara, dengan terlaksananya kegiatan ini, Endah berharap mahasiswa ITS semakin peka pada perkembangan teknologi dan riset. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Disamping itu, saya berharap agar jumlah penelitian ITS semakin mengingkat dan memberi dampak pada perkembangan riset Indonesia,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d pungkasnya.
