Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Failasuf Filantropi SIkom, <em>Owner<\/em> Filantropi Communication didaulat sebagai pembicara.<\/p>\n<div>Filan, begitu ia akrab disapa menjelaskan, komunikasi itu bersifat <em>irreversible<\/em> atau tidak bisa dikembalikan seperti semula. Dalam hal ini yang perlu diperhatikan adalah konteks ruang dan waktu serta aspek verbal dan non verbal sebuah bahasa. &#8221;Beberapa orang yang saya temui sering mengalami masalah ketika ia akan berbicara didepan orang banyak,&#8221; kisahnya.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Ia menyebutkan bahwa hasil survei membuktikan <em>Public Relation<\/em> bagi beberapa orang masih menjadi momok yang menakutkan. &#8221;Saya pernah mendengar pendapat seseorang bahwa lebih baik mati daripada <em>public speaking<\/em> atau berbicara didepan orang banyak. Padahal harusnya itu tidak terjadi,&#8221; ujarnya menyayangkan,.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Filan, komunikasi berhasil ketika isi pesan dipahami 100 persen oleh komunikan. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, seperti memahami lawan bicara dengan simpatik, pemilihan topik yang sesuai serta media yang dipilih sudah tepat.<\/p>\n<p>Hal senada juga disampaikan oleh Abdullah Akribul Ilmi, Cak Persahabatan 2012 serta Hastari Winursita, Ning Wakil II 2011 Surabaya, yang turut didaulat sebagai pemateri. Selain ketiganya, hadir pula Dr Dra Ismaini Zain Msi yang mengulas mengenai pentingnya&nbsp; <em>public speaking <\/em>bagi <em>fresh graduate<\/em>. &#8221;Yang akan dilihat pertama kali selain penampilan adalah cara dia berbicara, tampillah yang meyakinkan,&#8221; ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Ia pun memberikan sembilan prinsip untuk membina hubungan antar manusia yang dibekali kepada peserta oleh Ismaini. Antara lain adalah hindari kebiasaan Sindiran Omelan Kritikan (SOK), berilah penghargaan yang jujur dan tulus, bangunkan kemauan berhasil, beri perhatian pada orang lain, senyum, ingatlah nama teman-teman, jadilah pendengar yang baik, berbicaralah sesuai dengan minat orang lain dan buatlah orang lain merasa penting.
