ITS Campus, ITS News \u2014<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0Demonstrating its global presence,\u00a0<\/span>the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0participated in the QS EduData Summit 2026. This international forum, which brought together university leaders, experts and specialists, and global stakeholders, took place for two days in Singapore, starting Wednesday (3\/6).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

ITS’s participation in this event is a strategic step to strengthen its position in global rankings through a\u00a0<\/span>data-driven decision-making<\/span><\/em>\u00a0approach to developing internationally competitive institutions. At this global meeting, delegates discussed various data-driven strategies for improving the performance and reputation of educational institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

ITS’s participation in this forum aims not only to gain global insights but also to adopt best practices in institutional data management to strengthen its international reputation and competitiveness. This step is expected to further improve ITS’s position in various world rankings and expand its global collaboration network.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the occasion, ITS Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Nurul Widiastuti, SSi, MSi, PhD, emphasized that utilizing student data as a basis for decision-making is a key element in supporting the continuous improvement of educational service quality. “In addition to building a global image, we (ITS) also want to adopt international best practices to strengthen the educational ecosystem at ITS,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Several crucial issues were the main focus of discussion in the global discussion forum. Nurul stated that this academic discussion forum was not only concerned with improving the competence of existing human resources. “The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) into the curriculum and education governance system was also a major highlight of the meeting,” explained the Professor of the ITS Chemistry Department.<\/span><\/p>\n

These include Taylor’s University (Malaysia), Ajman University (United Arab Emirates), Gyeongsang National University (Korea), the University of Indonesia, and various universities from the Middle East and Asia. The forum is supported by strategic partners such as Elsevier and the Institute for the Future of Education at Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Head of the ITS Institutional Reputation Unit, Dr. Sarah Cahyadini, ST, MT, PhD, stated that this international participation is expected to accelerate ITS’s position in various global rankings. Furthermore, this step is projected to expand ITS’s global collaboration network. “Thus, it is hoped that ITS will become more established in its role as an internationally competitive higher education institution that is relevant to current developments,” Sarah emphasized.<\/span><\/p>\n

ITS’s participation in this global initiative is an effort to realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG point 4 on Quality Education and point 17 on Partnerships to Achieve the Goals.\u00a0<\/span>(ITS Public Relations)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
