Certification Corner
In a competitive job market, a diploma alone is not enough. Companies seek graduates who are ready to work, possess proven skills, and are officially recognized. Competency certification is proof that students' abilities have met industry standards, both nationally and internationally.
With certification, students have a greater competitive advantage, such as:
Increasing Competitiveness
Certification provides added value in the eyes of recruiters. Graduates with relevant certifications have a greater chance of passing job selection because they are considered ready to enter the professional world.
Formal Competency Recognition
Unlike academic grades, certification demonstrates abilities that have been independently tested according to industry standards.
Access to Wider Career Opportunities
Many companies, particularly in the financial, technology, and manufacturing sectors, make certification a mandatory requirement for certain positions.
Encouraging Self-Development
The certification process encourages students to continuously learn, practice, and adapt to the latest technological developments and regulations.
Supporting International Mobility
Certification with global standards opens up job opportunities abroad and strengthens graduates' positions within international professional networks.
In other words, competency certification is not just an additional document, but a long-term investment in students' careers. Universities, professional organizations, and certification bodies need to collaborate to facilitate students' access to certification relevant to their fields of study. In ITS Business Management, students have the opportunity to equip themselves with competency certification.
