Department of Business Management ITS aims to prepare graduates to pursue a career in the business world as entrepreneurs or as business professionals with the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. For that, the bachelor of business management program are provided with relevan skills and knowledge in managing business in today’s era of technology-based competition. In addition, students are equipped with communication skills and managerial understanding in managing technological innovations that are appropriate for the development of Indonesian society.

Our academic program quality are reflected by our alumni performance. Our alumni network–called IKA MB ITS (https://alumni.business-its.com), founded in September 2016. Many of our alumni work in various field and industry, local and multinational company, state-owned enterprises, and even starting their own business.

With a management degree from MB ITS, you can have opportunity as:

  • Entrepreneur, especially in technology industry.
  • Manager in various industry: manufacture, energy, utility, chemical, FMCG, retail, service, multimedia, banking, etc. Ranging from local company to multi national company
  • Working at managerial field: Human Resource, Marketing, Accounting, Finance Staff

Vision

Becoming a community for Business Management ITS alumni that makes a real contribution to society.

Mission

  1. Proactively strengthen ties between IKA MBITS members
  2. Become an organization that has a role in shaping the competencies of its members
  3. Be a liaison member with the almamater of the Department of Business Management and ITS

Alumni play an active role in supporting the academic development of Business Management ITS through the following activities:

  • Participate as a guest speaker in a guest lecture. Guest lectures from alumni contain material both on soft skills and about the latest developments in the business world and management profession.
  • Provisioning of prospective graduates, where alumni sharing about their working experience and skills that will be needed by prospective graduates so that they are ready in the job market.
  • Debriefing through MB gathering, where active students or prospective graduates are given professional skills.
  • The existence of an entrepreneurial corner (entepreneural corner) on the website of business management alumni (alumni.business-its.com) that can help give an overview to students about entrepreneurial insights outside the campus.
  • The alumni network also provided enormous assistance in supporting industry visits. The industry visit program is a program to introduce students to the industrial world by visiting companies and dialoguing directly with managers at these companies.
  • Providing information on placement of Student Practice Work and job vacancies

Facility Donations

  • The alumni association contributes air conditioners to student association rooms and contributes loudspeakers to be used in class.

Funding Donations

  • Through the ITS Alumni Association, alumni periodically provide alumni scholarships that can be utilized by Business Management students.
