Mr. Faiz is currently on hiatus to pursue doctoral studies in Supply Chain Management and Social Responsibility at Hanken School of Economics in Finland. His dissertation topic is Socially Responsible Procurement in Coffee Supply Chains, taking a perspective on Coffee Cooperatives in Indonesia.

He holds an M.Sc. degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Lund University, Sweden. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Industrial Engineering Department, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. Prior to joining ITS, Mr. Faiz had experience working in a start-up and a manufacturing company. Currently, he is an active public speaker at many trainings and seminars, and writes several motivational books.

His research interests include Sustainable, Circular, Regenerative, and Halal Supply Chain Management; Logistics Management; Operations Management, and Social Sustainability.
