We are pleased to announce the annual Global Project-based Learning (GPbL) Program in Mathematics, a collaboration between the Department of Mathematics at ITS and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SIT.
The program will be hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Shibaura Institute of Technology, Toyosu, Japan, from September 1–10, 2025, with the theme of Data Analytics. Registration is open until June 27, 2025: https://its.id/GPbLinDataScience2025

During the program, you will enhance your understanding of Data Analytics by attending lectures from Professor Masaomi Kimura (SIT) and Mohammad Iqbal, Ph.D. (ITS). You will then apply this knowledge to solve mini-projects.
You will also experience:
All participants will receive a JASSO Scholarship of 60,000–80,000 JPY, depending on GPA, which will be disbursed on the first day of the program. Only 16 students will be selected to participate in this program.
Please note that all flight fares and accommodation costs are your own responsibility, so make sure to discuss the financial aspects with your parents. Additionally, ITS GE will not provide any additional scholarships due to JASSO regulations. This should be mentioned in the parents’ support letter.
