Health is the most important part of human life. Nowadays, keeping yourself healthy is an obligation in order to save yourself and those around you. For some students who have a busy schedule, they will not stop unless they really drop. So, how to keep the body healthy, if we are too busy with endless lectures? In fact, sometimes there is no time to just take a break, due to busyness both inside and outside of lectures.
On Saturday (19/6), the Social Development Department of HIMKA-ITS provided a solution to stay fit in the midst of busyness by holding workout classes. Around 100 participants from the 2017 to 2020 class took part in this activity online through the zoom meeting conference. The activity went lively, the limitations that existed during this pandemic were not a barrier to the enthusiasm of the participants in taking part in the excitement of this workout classes event. The activity is carried out from 08.00 to 10.00 am.
This workout classes contains fitness exercises starting from warming up, core, and cooling which are accessed via youtube videos. Department of Social Development held this workout classes in preparation for final exam. With this event, it can also be a little refreshing for students in the midst of their busyness with assignments and practicum reports. In addition to making the body healthier, the mind becomes refreshed and ready to undergo the end-of-semester evaluation with enthusiasm.
