Surabaya, IT Journalistic — Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has once again fortified the collaboration between the realms of education and business through the routine forum of the Educational, Business, and Industrial Alignment Forum (Larasdikdudi). This strategic activity was held in Room 601 of the ITS Industrial and Systems Engineering Department on Wednesday (29/7). The meeting served as a valuable platform for sharing knowledge, introducing technological innovations, and strengthening the synergy among universities, schools, training institutions, and industry partners to mold adaptive young entrepreneurial talents.
One of the main highlights of the gathering was the workshop titled “Game and AI-Based Education.” This session was led directly by ITS Information Technology lecturer, Gagatsatya Adiatmaja, S.T., M.Kom. During the presentation, participants were introduced to the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and gamification as innovative approaches to creating highly interactive learning processes. Technologies such as NotebookLM for material generation and Quizizz for creative evaluation were demonstrated to accelerate the participants’ competency readiness in facing modern industry demands.

Beyond technology-based training, the event also provided a stage for students to exhibit real-world innovations. Supervising lecturer Annisaa Sri Indrawanti, S.Kom., M.Kom., alongside the Student Creativity Program for Community Service (PKM-PM) team—known as the Gema Imam Team—demonstrated their project. The team designed an independent prayer assistance tool for children with special needs by integrating visual sensors into audio and a learning management system, currently implemented at SLB Paedagogia Surabaya. This project embodies the practical application of technology that delivers a tangible social impact while simultaneously nurturing the students’ sociopreneurial spirit.

Earlier, the event was officially opened by the Chairman of the Larasdikdudi Forum, Drs. Iksir I Thouby, MM., MH., CODP. In his speech, he strongly emphasized the urgency of continuous collaboration between educational entities and industry players. This synergy is believed to be the master key for educational institutions to respond to technological disruption and produce graduates and young entrepreneurs relevant to the dynamics of the workforce.
The educational series of events concluded with a Lab Tour to the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Laboratory, guided by the ITS LSCM Team. Through this tour, participants from various institutions were able to witness firsthand the cutting-edge facilities and research implementations developed by ITS to support the backbone of the national logistics industry.

Through this collaborative forum, ITS and Larasdikdudi actively support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:
SDG 4 (Quality Education): Through initiatives developing interactive learning models based on technological innovation (AI and games).
SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): By manifesting multi-sectoral synergy between universities, vocational schools, training institutes, and business/industry partners to shape the future of outstanding digital talents and young entrepreneurs.
