Surabaya, ELECTICS ITS – The Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (ELECTICS), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), successfully hosted the prestigious international conference, The Eighth Information Systems International Conference (ISICO 2025). This biennial event took place on August 4–6, 2025, in a hybrid format in Bali, Indonesia, and brought together hundreds of researchers, academics, and practitioners from around the world.
With the theme “AI-Powered Business Transformation: Leveraging Machine Learning in Information Systems”, ISICO 2025 served as a forum for exchanging ideas on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning can revolutionize business processes, support decision-making, and strengthen digital innovation in the modern era.

This year, ISICO received 313 paper submissions from 21 countries, including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, Bangladesh, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. After a rigorous review process, 191 papers were accepted and presented at the conference, both on-site in Bali and virtually from across the globe. All accepted papers will be published in Procedia Computer Science – Elsevier, an open-access proceedings indexed by Scopus.
One of the main highlights of ISICO 2025 was the presence of four distinguished keynote speakers, all of whom are prominent figures in the field of information systems and digital transformation:
