The Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS), Oman, invites academics, researchers, students, policymakers, practitioners, and industry professionals to participate in the International Conference in Higher Education, Humanities & Social Sciences (ICHESS) 2026. Held under the theme “Transforming Higher Education for Shared Futures,” the conference provides an international platform for exchanging ideas, presenting research, and fostering collaboration to address the evolving landscape of higher education.
ICHESS 2026 will take place on 2–3 December 2026 at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS), Muscat, Oman, and will be conducted in a hybrid format, enabling both onsite and virtual participation.
The conference welcomes research papers, poster presentations, and workshop proposals related to the following themes:
Through these themes, ICHESS 2026 seeks to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and innovative research that contributes to the advancement of higher education and society.
Accepted papers that are presented during the conference and meet the publication requirements will be included in the conference proceedings published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis) and indexed in Scopus, providing participants with international publication opportunities and wider research visibility.
