MMSU InLeaD: Virtual Cultural & Gastronomic Exploration in the Ilocos Region, Philippines

Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) invites ITS students and faculty to join the MMSU InLeaD: Virtual Cultural and Gastronomic Exploration in the Ilocos Region, Philippines — a free, 6-day online short course designed to foster cross-cultural learning, mutual understanding, and appreciation of Philippine heritage.

Program Highlights

• Interactive lectures, virtual tours, and cultural demonstrations
• Immersive sessions on Ilocano traditions, cuisine, language, and tourism
• Intercultural dialogue and experiential learning with international peers
• Certificate of Completion for all participants who complete the full program
• Certificate of Recognition for outstanding participants
• Outstanding participants may be invited for an on-site visit to MMSU with full or partial scholarship:
  • Full scholarship: airport pick-up & drop-off, accommodation, meals, and cultural immersion
  • Partial scholarship: airport pick-up & drop-off, accommodation, and cultural immersion

Eligibility

• Bona fide undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff
• Open to participants from any university or college, in the Philippines or abroad
• Open to all academic backgrounds — no specific field of study required
• Open to both partner and non-partner universities
