Surabaya, F-ELECTICS ITS – A student from the Information Technology Department of F-ELECTICS ITS has once again achieved national-level recognition. Dian Anggraeni Putri secured 1st Place at the TECHNOFEST Web Coding Competition 2025, organized by the Informatics Education Student Association and the Information Technology Student Association of Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat.
Supervised by Dr. Rizka Wakhidatus Sholikah, S.Kom., this achievement demonstrates the strong competence of F-ELECTICS students in web development, UI/UX, and innovative digital solution development.
The TECHNOFEST Web Coding Competition is a national-level contest that emphasizes not only visual website appearance but also innovation, functionality, and user experience quality. Through this event, participants are challenged to deliver web-based digital solutions that are relevant, professional, and impactful.
In the competition, Dian developed a company profile website using a professional design approach that strongly represents corporate identity. The design process began with Figma to structure user flow and visual layout, followed by development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks to produce a responsive and interactive interface across multiple devices.
The main strengths of the developed solution lie in its intuitive navigation, brand-representative design, and storytelling approach, enabling the website not only to convey information but also to build credibility and engagement for users.

During the preparation phase, Dian collaborated with Nadira Alayna Yasser from the Architecture Study Program at UPN “Veteran” East Java to strengthen the visual design aspect. Their preparation included concept brainstorming, industry website quality research, website structure and wireframe development, and presentation rehearsals. The biggest challenge faced was limited development time, requiring the team to carefully prioritize features while ensuring all core competition requirements were fulfilled.
Dian noted that the academic environment of F-ELECTICS and the Information Technology Department at ITS played a significant role in shaping her technical skills and problem-solving mindset. Courses such as Web Programming, Human–Computer Interaction, and System Integration provided knowledge that could be directly applied to the competition website development.
Through this achievement, Dian encourages fellow F-ELECTICS students not to hesitate in joining competitions.
“Competitions are a very fast learning environment. Winning is the goal, but the process we go through becomes valuable provision for developing our skills.”
This accomplishment further reinforces the commitment of F-ELECTICS ITS to producing outstanding graduates who are ready to compete at both national and global levels, particularly in the fields of information technology and digital solution development.
