Surabaya, ELECTICS ITS – The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology through the Directorate General of Research and Development has officially announced the recipients of the 2025 Priority Research Downstreaming Program. This program is divided into three schemes: Industry Engagement, Technology Push, and SINERGI. Several lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical Technology and Intelligent Informatics (ELECTICS) ITS successfully secured funding through this program, reaffirming ITS’s contribution in strengthening research downstreaming at the national level.
Industry Engagement Scheme Through collaboration with industry, several ITS lecturers’ innovations successfully passed the selection:
Technology Push Scheme In this category, ITS was also involved as an expert/reviewer team for the feasibility study of research products, one of which was through the contribution of Rezki El Arif, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. from Politeknik Negeri Semarang with ITS participating as reviewer.
SINERGI Scheme In addition, several ELECTICS ITS lecturers also secured funding under the SINERGI scheme, which emphasizes the downstreaming of innovations both commercially and socially:
The involvement of ELECTICS ITS lecturers in this program demonstrates the significant role of ELECTICS in addressing technological challenges and meeting national industrial needs. Beyond commercial downstreaming, several innovations are also directed toward supporting literacy and ethics in artificial intelligence within the education sector.
