DPTSI recently held a training which was attended by IT admins from the IKTI-DPTSI Sub-Directorate. The theme of this training is Design of Connection and Measurement of Fiber Optic Networks, in collaboration with Telkom Indonesia. The training was carried out for 3 working days, starting from November 22 – 24, 2022.
The training topics include FTTX Technology, Characteristics of Fiber Optic Cables, Installation and Termination of FO Access Network Elements, Connection and Measurement of FO Networks, and Planning of FO Access Networks.
Practical facilities and materials in the LAB FO Simulation consist of:

- Connection and measuring devices consist of:
- Splicers
- OTDR
- OPM.
