ITS Surabaya – In a strategic move to fortify its standing as a premier global institution, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) continues to champion academic excellence by facilitating its scholars’ participation in high-level international discourse. By bridging local innovation with global visibility, the university reinforces its commitment to becoming a hub for world-class research and transformative education.

Following its recent achievement as the 97th best university in the Asia-Pacific and 509th worldwide, ITS has officially empowered seven distinguished scholars to present their research at prestigious global forums through the Program Presenting at International Conferences. As part of the EQUITY World Class University (WCU) initiative, this program serves as a vital instrument in amplifying the university’s scientific impact and broadening its academic footprint across key intellectual hubs.

The scholars selected for this international program represent a diverse range of expertise: Prof. Mahendrawathi Er., ST., M.Sc., Ph.D. from the Department of Information Systems will present her work in Spain, while Dimas Anton Asfani, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. from the Department of Electrical Engineering is set to represent ITS in South Korea. The delegation also includes Ahmad Radhy, S.Si., M.Si. (Instrumentation Engineering) for a conference in Malaysia, Dr. Farida Rachmawati, ST, MT. (Civil Engineering) in Australia, and Budi Suswanto, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. (Civil Engineering) in Japan. Completing the cohort are Katon Ageng Rezkita, S.Ds., M.Sc. from the Department of Product Design and Sena Safarina, S.Si., M.Sc., D.Sc. from the Department of Mathematics, who will showcase their research in Italy and the United Kingdom, respectively.
