The January 2026 Arisan Meeting of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Vokasi ITS became a meaningful occasion with the organization of an Islamic Study titled Targhib Ramadhan, delivered by Ustadzah Nur Rahmawati. This activity was attended enthusiastically by members of DWP Vokasi ITS as part of an effort to strengthen fellowship while enhancing faith and spiritual preparedness ahead of the holy month of Ramadhan.
The event began in a warm and friendly atmosphere typical of an arisan gathering, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. This Islamic study offered heart-soothing reflections, inviting participants to understand the meaning of Targhib as a form of encouragement and motivation in performing acts of worship. Through this session, members were encouraged to develop a deeper love for Ramadhan and to prepare themselves both physically and spiritually in order to maximize every good deed during this blessed month.
In the delivery of the material, it was explained that Ramadhan is a special month filled with mercy, forgiveness, and opportunities for self-improvement. Participants were reminded of the importance of refining their intentions, guarding their speech, strengthening both obligatory and voluntary acts of worship, and increasing social awareness and care for others. These values are expected to serve as guidance in carrying out daily activities, both within the family and in the wider community.
The Targhib Ramadhan Islamic Study also served as a moment of reflection for DWP Vokasi ITS members to remind one another in goodness. Light discussions and interactions throughout the event added warmth to the atmosphere while strengthening a sense of togetherness and sisterhood among members. Beyond being a religious forum, the activity also became a platform for sharing experiences and inspiration in fulfilling roles as wives, mothers, and members of the ITS academic community.
Through this arisan activity combined with an Islamic study, DWP Vokasi ITS hopes that its members will be increasingly motivated to welcome Ramadhan with pure hearts and a strong spirit of worship. This activity stands as proof that togetherness can be a pathway to strengthening faith, deepening religious knowledge, and cultivating positive values in everyday life.
