CNC Milling Training by the Manufacturing Systems Laboratory, Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), was officially held as a competency-building activity in industrial engineering-based manufacturing. This standardized training, led by professionals, aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of CNC Milling machine operation. It is designed to introduce modern machining technology to students and the general public as part of efforts to improve the quality of human resources in the manufacturing sector.
The training will take place over two days: Sunday, December 21, 2025, and Monday, December 22, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). Participants will receive material on the functions and components of CNC Milling machines, basic working principles, and practical machine operation in accordance with safety standards and industry procedures. Through a structured and applied learning approach, participants are expected to understand the role of CNC Milling machines in modern production processes.
This training aims to introduce the broader uses of CNC Milling machines and increase the competitiveness of students and the general public. By mastering these machining skills, participants are expected to be able to contribute to efficient and value-added local production efforts. Furthermore, this activity also represents the Manufacturing Systems Laboratory’s commitment to supporting the development of sustainable manufacturing competencies through training programs relevant to industry needs.
