Global Exploration Opportunities (GEO) program was officially launched as an international learning activity aimed at broadening students’ horizons in the field of System Modeling and strengthening cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Through this program, students from two universities participated in a series of academic activities and social interactions designed to enrich their learning experience in a global context.
The GEO 2025 program was held offline from August 24 to 31, 2025. During the program, participants engaged in various activities, including interactive lectures, group work, and cross-disciplinary collaborative sessions, encouraging the development of comprehensive analytical and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the program provided participants with the opportunity to visit several locations in Surabaya as part of an exploratory activity connecting academic theory with real-world practice.
Through this activity, GEO not only provided academic experience in the field of System Modeling but also instilled the values of international collaboration, openness to diversity, and adaptability in a multicultural environment. This program is expected to provide a platform for students to broaden their global perspectives, strengthen academic networks, and contribute to the sustainable development of knowledge in international education. Thus, GEO is a concrete step in strengthening relations between universities and encouraging the creation of a young generation that is innovative, has a global perspective, and is oriented towards cross-cultural collaboration.
