CNC Router Training by the Manufacturing Systems Laboratory, Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), was officially held as a competency development activity in modern manufacturing. This training, led by professionals, is intended for students and the general public to introduce the CNC Router machines owned by the ITS Manufacturing Systems Laboratory. This activity is designed to provide an initial understanding of the role and potential of CNC Router technology in supporting modern technology-based industrial production processes.
The training will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM WIB. During the training, participants will receive an introduction to CNC Router machines, their working principles, and basic machine operation practices in accordance with work procedures and safety standards. Through an applied learning approach, participants are expected to understand the characteristics and uses of CNC Router machines as a crucial technology in modern manufacturing.
This training is aimed at students and the general public with a strong interest in manufacturing technology in the industrial sector. Mastery of CNC Router machine usage skills, including a basic understanding of CNC machining, is expected to provide added value to participants when involved in manufacturing processes that utilize this technology. Through this activity, the Manufacturing System Laboratory hopes to encourage increased technical competence among the community while expanding the use of modern manufacturing technology in a sustainable manner.
