The FIRE-T (Facing the Industrial Revolution Era for Teachers) program was officially launched as part of efforts to develop educator competencies to address the dynamic needs of modern education and industry. This activity is designed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge and insight, while also introducing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)-based learning approaches relevant to current technological developments and industrial needs.
Through this training, participants have the opportunity to learn innovative learning strategies that can be applied in the classroom to foster students’ competitiveness, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Furthermore, this activity emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the education sector and industry in developing curriculum and learning methods that adapt to changing times.
This program is a concrete step in supporting the transformation of science and technology-based education, with the goal of developing a future generation that is not only academically intelligent but also capable of innovation and adaptation in a competitive global environment. Thus, this STEM-based teacher training is expected to strengthen the role of educators as agents of change in producing superior human resources ready to face future challenges.
