Geospatial Laboratory

Geospatial Laboratory is one of the laboratories within the Department of Geomatics Engineering, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), which focuses on the acquisition, processing, utilization, and dissemination of geospatial information. Its main areas of study include Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Vision:

To become a research and education laboratory in the geospatial field that contributes to the development of geomatics science and profession at the national level and has an international reputation.

Mission:

  1. To conduct education in the field of geospatial expertise.
  2. To develop advanced and innovative research in the geospatial field as a contribution to the advancement of science and the geomatics profession at the national and international levels.
  3. To establish collaborations and community service activities that contribute to solving problems using geospatial approaches.

Objectives :

  1. To produce graduates who have strong scientific understanding and are able to apply geospatial knowledge, as well as adapt to the latest developments in geospatial technology.

  2. To conduct research in the geospatial field at national and international levels.

  3. To establish extensive relationships with industry, institutions, and communities at both national and international levels.
