A General Medical Unit is a unit in the ITS Medical Center that provides comprehensive medical care for a wide range of conditions and illnesses. This unit is staffed by doctors who are ready to address your initial complaints and appropriately refer you to further specialist care if needed.

The goal of a General Medical Unit is to assess, diagnose, and treat various medical conditions, including acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and injuries. The unit is equipped to handle diverse medical cases and offers both inpatient and outpatient services.

The services provided by this unit include medical consultations with doctors and specialists who will evaluate their medical condition, perform physical examinations, review medical histories, and order relevant diagnostic tests. Additionally, the unit also provides education and guidance to patients on managing their conditions, promoting lifestyle modifications, and offering preventive measures to maintain optimal health.

Emergency Unit (ER)

The Emergency Unit or Emergency Room is a unit in the ITS Medical Center that provides immediate medical care for patients with urgent or life-threatening conditions. The main tasks of the ER are to provide immediate medical care, triage (a system to prioritize patients in the emergency department based on the severity of their condition), handle a variety of urgent and life-threatening conditions such as severe injuries, severe bleeding, and acute illnesses that require immediate intervention, and coordinate with emergency medical services such as ambulances or paramedics to ensure seamless care for patients in need of emergency transportation.
