Hingga saat ini Departemen Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota ITS telah menyediakan fasilitas pendidikan yang memadai terkait pengajar, fasilitas di dalam gedung, dan relasi yang ditawarkan. Pengajar yang disediakan berjumlah 24 orang dibagi dalam 3 laboratorium. Dan dalam menuntut ilmu, mahasiswa dapat memanfaatkan 3 ruang laboratorium sesuai bidang mata kuliah.
Selain memiliki kualitas pengajar dan fasilitas yang memadai kebutuhan pembelajaran, Departemen Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota juga memiliki mahasiswa yang terus berprestasi dan mengharumkan nama ITS. Prestasi tersebut diantaranya meraih Best Delegate bidang Perumahan dan Permukiman tahun 2018, Best Talent Next Telkomsel 2018, Juara Festagama Usung Konsep 3E Revitalisasi Bozem Krembangan 2018 dan masih banyak lagi.
