[Jakarta, June 10, 2026] — Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) actively participated as a speaker in the 2026 Convention on the Draft Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (RSKKNI) for Halal Auditors, organized by the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) at the BPJPH Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Jakarta.

This convention is a follow-up to the Pre-Convention RSKKNI Halal Auditor held on March 13, 2026, aimed at developing and formalizing national work competency standards for the halal auditor position. The event brought together various stakeholders, including relevant ministries, professional certification bodies (LSP), halal training institutions, academics, and industry practitioners. ITS was represented by LSP ITS, which sent one representative, Dr.rer.nat. Nasori, S.Si., M.Si., as a speaker and active participant in all convention sessions.

The Head of LSP ITS, Daril Ridho Zuchrillah, ST. MT., stated that the participation of the LSP under the Halal Product Assurance scheme represents ITS’s responsibility as a higher education institution to support the independence of Indonesia’s halal industry. He added that certification is a key factor for national products to remain competitive, and ITS is fully committed to being a leading driver in providing highly qualified human resources in the field of Halal Product Assurance (JPH).

ITS’s participation in the convention reinforces the university’s commitment to supporting the development of professional halal auditor competencies that meet national standards. The presence of LSP ITS contributes directly to the refinement of competency units and assessment guidelines for halal auditors in Indonesia.

The 2026 RSKKNI Halal Auditor Convention is expected to strengthen halal auditor competency standards, expand collaboration networks between academics, regulators, and the halal industry, and enhance the national halal ecosystem to become more professional, consistent, and sustainable.
