ITS Library Information Literacy Program

In line with the improvement of ITS Library services based on literacy classes, we offer several literacy classes that can be taken by students who are enrolled in certain courses, such as Research Methods, Project Design, Scientific Writing, Thesis Proposal Writing, and others. We hope that these literacy classes will enhance collaboration between the Library and lecturers in supporting the three pillars of higher education.

Here is a list of ITS Library Literacy Classes tailored to your needs:

  1. Library Instruction: Basic training for students to equip them with the skills to effectively utilize the ITS library’s collections, services, and facilities
  2. E-Resources Class: Training in techniques for searching scientific literature in online databases managed and subscribed to by ITS, as well as searching other reliable information sources.
  3. Reference Manager: Training on the use of Zotero, Mendeley, and Vos Viewer to manage citations and references
  4. Using AI Tools for Academic Writing: Training on the ethical and sustainable use of AI as a tool to assist in academic writing.
