PDPM ITS Contributes to Evaluating Development Issues in Tuban Regency

ATTACHMENT ;PDPM ITS consistently contributes to being part of the study of development issues in Indonesia. On April 20, 2021, PDPM ITS participated in the FGD of the final report on the preparation of the Human Development Index (IPM) report document, the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) and the Evaluation of the Tuban Regency Regional Poverty Rate in 2020 organized by the Tuban Regency Government. The FGD participants were the PLT Head of the Tuban Bappeda (Mr. Agung Tri Wibowo), the Head of the Social Service (Mr. Eko Julianto), the Head of the Tuban Regency BPS (Ms. Eko Mardiana), the Tuban Regency Regional Apparatus Organization and the ITS PDPM. PDPM was represented by Dr. Sutikno, M.Si as the head of PDPM ITS, Dr. Soedarso, M.Hum as deputy head of PDPM ITS and Imam Safawi Ahmad, M.Si as experts.

Data on poverty, HDI and TPT are targets for the preparation of the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) for the next 5 years. So it is hoped that this FGD can provide benefits for evaluation and long-term development planning of Tuban Regency. According to Dr. Sutikno, M.Si The problems in Tuban Regency are repeated, because they don’t have a good database yet. This was also confirmed by Mr. Eko Julianto as the head of the Tuban District Social Service. The validity of the data, especially poverty data, is still in question, so it is necessary to update the DTKS data.

As a long-term evaluation material, PDPM ITS provides several recommendations including digitalization of integrated data (databases and dashboards) for poverty data, Youth entrepreneurship training using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to overcome unemployment and Opening opportunities for local and foreign market share to increase the purchasing power of the people of Tuban Regency.
