In line with the technopreneurship concept initiated by ITS as a prospectus model for its graduates, IS | FTIF also carries the IT-preneurship concept, where its students are forged and trained to develop into entrepreneurs in the field of information technology. Therefore, right from the start, students in IS | FTIF are encouraged to be trained to think creatively and independently, as well as to demonstrate their talents and abilities. Projects intended for students across various aspects (ranging from course assignments, final projects, to various academic and non-academic competitions, research, and entrepreneurship competitions such as KKTM in Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Education—projected to reach national and international scale events like Dikti's PKM-PKMT, PIMNAS, Gemastik, to POMDA) all provide opportunities for students to develop.
A comprehensive mentoring program has been prepared by IS | FTIF to achieve the maximum results and achievements that students aspire to attain. Students are educated to find solutions through collaborative problem-solving within groups. Students are also trained to develop analytical skills, teamwork, and better report and paper writing skills. Everything is focused on achieving maximum performance through the collective efforts of the entire IS | FTIF academic community!
Objectives
The objective of organizing the ITS Information Systems Master's Program begins with identifying the goals of FTIF ITS relevant to the main tasks and functions of the Department, taking into account local issues by creating a Departmental SWOT analysis that describes the actual current state of the Department, and finally, integrating the goals generated from the SWOT analysis with the identified goals of FTIF ITS. Another goal is to produce engineering master's graduates who possess mastery of knowledge, understanding, and skills in the field of Information Systems. After completing the educational program, students are expected to possess strong and deep mastery in science and technology, be capable of analyzing and solving various engineering science problems comprehensively, and be able to present original innovations in science and technology.
Academic Activities
The ITS Information Systems Master's (S-2) Study Program is conducted over 4 semesters (2 years), with a maximum study period of 4 years. The minimum credit load is 36 credits (sks), including a thesis in accordance with the curriculum. The academic calendar for Semester I begins in early September, while Semester II begins in early February and ends in June. Academic activities include: lectures, assignments and independent study, laboratory activities, literature reviews, as well as active participation in discussions and seminars.

Curriculum
Postgraduate Information Systems students will be prepared as leaders and innovators in global competition within the information systems field.
