About Us
The Directorate of Postgraduate and Academic Development is one of the directorates under the Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, established in accordance with ITS Rector Regulation No. 24 of 2019 concerning the Organization and Governance of ITS.
Duties and Functions
In the said Rector Regulation, Article 12 states that (1) The Directorate of Postgraduate and Academic Development has the duty to assist Vice Rector I in: a. Preparing the formulation and implementing policies in the sub-fields of postgraduate studies and academic development; b. Executing work programs aligned with policies in the sub-fields of postgraduate studies and academic development; c. Evaluating and reporting performance results of work programs in the sub-fields of postgraduate studies and academic development; and d. Providing excellent service in the sub-fields of postgraduate studies and academic development adhering to bureaucratic reform and integrity zone principles. (2) In executing the duties as referred to in paragraph (1), the Directorate of Postgraduate and Academic Development carries out the functions of: a. Formulation of planning, governance, and educational services for postgraduate and professional programs; b. Implementation of student admissions systems for postgraduate and professional programs; c. Organization of joint lectures for postgraduate and professional programs; d. Provision of educational services and scholarships for postgraduate and professional programs; e. Execution of monitoring and evaluation of educational implementation for postgraduate and professional programs; f. Execution of graduation/yudisium for postgraduate and professional programs; g. Execution of educational data and information management for postgraduate and professional programs; h. Coordination of accreditation preparation for postgraduate and professional programs; i. Coordination of international educational program management for postgraduate and professional programs; j. Planning and development of academic cooperation for all education levels and types of degree programs; k. Planning and management of credit transfer systems with partner universities; l. Coordination regarding proposals for opening, changing, and closing study programs for all education levels and types of degree programs; m. Planning, development, and evaluation of curriculum, educational quality standards, teaching methods, and learning technologies; and n. Execution of evaluation and reporting on the implementation of work programs in the sub-fields of postgraduate studies and academic development.
