Various forms of activities have been implemented such as pre Ramadan studies and special Ramadan studies by outside scholars, the Subuh Ba’da study by ITS lecturers, various Islamic competitions, to the distribution of zakat, Infaq, Fidyah and Shodaqoh. “Alhamdulillah everything went smoothly,” explained the chairman of Takmir Masjid Manarul Ilmi ITS.
Dr. KH Cholil Navis Lc MA Ph.D., which was given as the main lecturer, said that Idul Fitri means two things to be considered, namely to be true servants of God, and to spread kindness to the surrounding people. “In the Qur’an, Allah describes with a tree that has strong roots, namely the faith, also has a twig branch, namely to spread goodness to others,” he explained
However, Cholil continued, ‘ The twig of the branches ‘ is also not arbitrary, must comply with the policy of not fragile. The root balance is gripping strong and a strong twig that is like a strong Muslim is his faith and great benefits for others. “The process of life is not enjoyed alone, caring to others is also important,” said the alumnus of University of Malaya, Malaysia.
Related to the present Covid-19 pandemic, Cholil explained that connecting the relationship can still be done even though not able to face. Because in Islam, a person who has a habit of good deeds, will be rewarded the same reward even if it is unable to execute it sometime. Also, the distribution of goodness as a sign of the relationship is still many ways. “Perhaps there is a transfer of money, send food or gifts, it’s all forms of Silaturahmi,” said the caretaker Pondok Pesantren Cendekia Amanah.
Lastly, before closing his session, Cholil offered his hopes so that the meaning of Idul Fitri could be understood with the real meaning. “Most importantly, the reflection of Ramadan was implemented for the following 11 months. Hopefully, we can reunite until next Ramadan will come, “said him.(mad/rev/ITS Public Realtions)
