Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) successfully secured 2nd place as the Most Accomplished Campus of 2025 based on the ranking in the Talent Management Information System (SIMT) of the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas)
ITS Campus, ITS News – As a home for champions, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) has once again demonstrated proud achievements. Through the Talent Management Information System (SIMT) page of the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas), ITS is recorded as ranking 2nd as the Most Accomplished Campus in 2025, with a total of 665 medals.
Head of the Talent Development Section of the ITS Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa), Dr. Daniar Fahmi ST MT, revealed that this achievement is based on ITS’s ranking in the list of high-achieving students at the higher education level. The page also mentions the accumulation of ITS’s achievements calculated since 2015. “Among these achievements, ITS shows excellence in the research and innovation category with a total of 525 accomplishments,” he explained.
The man often called Dani stated that this ranking makes sense given the numerous achievements ITS has collected. Looking at ITS’s past track record, in the Student Performance Management Information System (Simkatmawa), where achievements are one of the main indicators, ITS has consistently held a superior ranking. “In 2024 alone, ITS ranked 1st in Simkatmawa,” he added.
Dani also revealed that this success is inseparable from the culture and system at ITS, which strongly support all forms of activities that elevate student achievements. The number of ITS’s accomplishments itself is one of the performance indicators for Ditmawa. This also demonstrates ITS’s commitment to providing the best environment to maximize student potential.

Furthermore, the lecturer from the Department of Electrical Engineering mentioned ITS’s steps in supporting student achievements. This is shown through incentives and the conversion of Semester Credit Units (SKS) for students who succeed in earning achievements. Not only that, competitions organized by the ministry, such as the Student Creativity Program (PKM), are also supported with guidance from the initial stages to departure.
Not only students, but supervising lecturers as facilitators are also given appreciation in the form of incentives and Rector’s Decrees (SK) for the tridharma of higher education. This serves as encouragement and recognition to provide the best guidance in helping students pursue achievements.
The Surabaya-born man also explained that the acquisition of various achievements and this ranking is important in strengthening ITS’s image in the job market. This shows that not only in terms of academics in the classroom, but ITS students are also capable of earning achievements and being competitive at national and international levels. “The number of achievements is also one of the indicators mentioned in the national ranking by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Diktisaintek),” he clarified.

As an effort to maintain and improve these accomplishments, Dani emphasized the need to strengthen synergy among all involved parties. This includes implementers, control functions, and campus policymakers. “These achievements would not be possible without cooperation from every party,” he firmly reminded.
Additionally, these achievements are also a form of ITS’s initiative in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on point 4 regarding Quality Education and point 8 regarding Decent Work and Economic Growth. In closing, the ITS Electrical Engineering alumnus expressed his hope that ITS can maintain the achievements it has accomplished in previous years while also enhancing the potential that must continue to be developed.
