Technology Management Department of ITS (MMT-ITS) is a unique department, which is the only department at ITS that has a Board of Advisors to provide suggestions for strategic development and curriculum in the department. Members of the Board of Advisors consisting of leaders or former leaders of companies, entrepreneurs, government, and leading academics. The Board of Advisors member is determined by the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technology Management on September 3, 2018.
Members of Board of Advisors from the academics are Prof. Dr. Udisubakti Ciptomulyono, MSc (Dean of FBMT ITS) and Professor Caroline Chan (RMIT, Australia). While from the head of state-owned enterprise, i.e. Dr. Dwi Soetjipto (CEO of PT Pertamina (2014-2017)), Ir. Muhammad Arif Wibowo (CEO of PT Garuda Indonesia (2014 – 2017)), and Dothy, MSc. (President Director of PT Terminal Teluk Lamong).
Board of Advisors also came from MMT alumni who succeed in their career path in state-owned enterprise and government, namely Siti Choiriana, MMT (Director of Consumer Services at PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia) and Fadjar Hutomo, MMT (Capital Access Deputy of the Indonesian Creative Economy Agency). While from the private sector and entrepreneurs, i.e Ir. Made Dana Tangkas (Independent Director of PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia) and Kyatmaja Lookman, MBA (CEO of PT Lookman Djaja).
To realize the purpose of a Board of Advisors establishment, the first Board Meeting was held. Located at Whyndam Hotel Surabaya (9/3), this Board Meeting, beside attended by the Board of Advisors, was attended by the ITS Chancellor, Prof. Joni Hermana and Manager, the Dean of FBMT (Prof. Udisubakti Ciptomulyono), Head of Department (Prof. I Nyoman Pujawan), and Secretary of the Department (Dr. Mokh. Suef). The Board Meeting discussed various matters related to the development and strategic planning of the department. The manager also gets various suggestions from the Board of Advisors for the department’s development strategic plan. (gwb)
