MKPI ITS – On February 6 2024, the Nganjuk Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) carried out a visit with the aim of initiating cooperation for the preparation of the Disaster Risk Assessment (KRB) document. This activity marks a proactive step in dealing with potential disasters that could affect the region.

In an effort to maintain the resilience and security of a region, the KRB has a very crucial role. This document provides a comprehensive overview of potential risks that could occur, their impact on society, as well as strategic steps that can be taken to reduce risks and overcome their consequences.

During this visit, BPBD Nganjuk entrusted the preparation of this KRB document to the MKPI Research Center which has experience in preparing KRBs in Sampang and East Java Province. The initiation of this collaboration is a strategic step in mitigating regional disaster risks. This process will involve all stakeholders to build strong and responsive resilience to disasters.
