    • A general overview about the healthcare system, consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary care, together with all its specific roles
    • Public vs private health care facilities
    • The health statistics
    • The current healthcare programme
    • The health insurance system in Indonsia
    • The role and career of healthcare personnel in Indonesia
    • The ministry of health strategic plan

    Tropical diseases in Indonesia: Treatment and Prevention

    Dr. Anak Agung Bagus Wirayuda, Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Medicine and Health, ITS

    This topic will cover:

    • A general overview of the top 10 tropical diseases in Indonesia
    • How we treat tropical diseases
    • Public health challenges
    • The health seeking behavior and how the ministry of health addresses this issue
    • The ministry of health programme for prevention.

    This initiative offers students Internationalisation @ Home. The lecture will be held in English. There will be ample opportunity for Q&A.
