Visiting FTEIC’s Laboratory session by the Rector as one of Leadership Meeting’s agenda
Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember’s leadership meetings are regularly held every week with different visiting schedules. The event was held with the Chancellor and his staff who visited each faculty at ITS to hold regular meetings for the better development of ITS. The Leadership Meeting in September was held at the Electics Faculty, to be precise in room AJ-201, the Department of Electrical Engineering.
This event was attended by the Chancellor and his staff, the Dean, the Deputy Dean, the Head of the Department, to the Head of the Laboratory in the ITS Electics environment. Rector’s direction from Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ashari, M.Eng opened the meeting which was then continued by the Dean of Electics, Dr. I Ketut Eddy Purnama, S.T., M.T. for the presentation of developments in the Faculty of Electrical Technology and Intelligent Information Technology.
The event was continued with explanations by each Head of Department in Electics to explain the developments in each department. Interestingly, there is a demo of using the DGX A100 Supercomputer which is one of the newest laboratory attributes in the Department of Computer Engineering. The event in the room was closed with a discussion of the presentations that had been delivered.
The event also entered a laboratory visit session by meeting participants in related labs in the department of electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, and computer engineering. The lab visit which was the main target of this event was carried out as a means of controlling. Finally, regular meetings are expected to be a forum for communication between the leadership and staff for better development in the future.
