Visit of UNNES Faculty of Engineering’s Quality Assurance Team to ITS Surabaya

Surabaya, October 20–21, 2025 — The Quality Assurance Team (KPM) of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) carried out a two-day visit to the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya. The program focused on strengthening academic quality assurance and preparing for international accreditation under IABEE (Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education).

📅 Day One – Monday, October 20, 2025

  • A lively discussion took place between UNNES and ITS teams.
  • The main topic was quality assurance systems and strategies to meet international accreditation standards.
  • The session was filled with enthusiasm, with both sides exchanging ideas and experiences.

📅 Day Two – Tuesday, October 21, 2025

  • The discussion continued with deeper insights into IABEE implementation.
  • UNNES delegates visited the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Civil Engineering at ITS.
  • The visit provided valuable opportunities to observe best practices already applied at ITS in preparing for international accreditation.

This activity provided an important platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration between institutions, fostering mutual learning and the adoption of best practices in higher education quality assurance.
