Review Process

The registration, submission, and review processes are conducted online via www.its.ac.id/kimia/isoc-2026/. The selection process begins with an assessment by the Committee to ensure the abstract aligns with the scope of the 7th ISoC 2026.

Authors whose abstracts are accepted and intend to publish their work through ISoC 2026 are required to submit full manuscripts via the designated submission platform. A statement indicating the author’s preference to publish in either international proceedings or affiliated national journals must also be provided. Authors who choose not to publish are not required to submit a full manuscript.

All submitted manuscripts will first undergo an initial screening for compliance with technical requirements (e.g., format, and length) and a similarity check using iThenticate, with a maximum similarity index of 20%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for major revision prior to further evaluation.

To ensure a proper blind review process, authors must submit two versions of the manuscript: a complete version including author information, and an anonymised version without such details. Eligible manuscripts will then be assessed through a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers, who may include members of the Advisory Board, Scientific Committee, or external experts appointed by the ISoC editorial team or collaborating publishers.

Final editorial decisions are based on reviewers’ evaluations of the manuscript’s originality and contribution to the field. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments to meet publication standards. For manuscripts submitted to journals indexed by Scientific.Net, the final decision rests solely with the Scientific.Net editor.
