Review Process

The registration, submission, and review process are carried out online via the website www.its.ac.id/kimia/isoc-2026/. The selection process begins with an assessment of the suitability of the abstract with the scope of the 7th ISoC 2026 by the Scientific Committee. Following this, authors with accepted abstracts are requested to submit complete manuscripts via the provided web page by including a statement letter stating their willingness to publish papers in international proceedings or national journals collaborated with the 7th ISoC. However, the full paper submission process can be waived for presenters who do not wish to publish their papers presented in ISoC.

Prior to review process, all manuscripts will undergo a blind peer review process conducted by an assigned editor, and each submission will be screened using iThenticate to ensure that the similarity index does not exceed 20%. The manuscript having similarity exceed 20% will be returned to the author for major revision, before following the review process

The  manuscripts that meets the writing requirements (format, number of pages, etc) are then sent to two reviewers to further assess their novelty and contribution to the development of knowledge related to the scope of the 7th IsoC 2026. This process is carried out through a blind review process, where the identity of the manuscript authors will not be revealed to the reviewers, and vice versa. The reviewers include the members of the Advisory Board, Scientific Committee, or external reviewers appointed by the ISoC editor and/or editor of the national journal or international proceedings that ISoC collaborates with. The authors are then requested to revise their manuscript according to the comments of the reviewers to meet the ISoC standard for publication.
