ITS 123 GRADUATIONS IN DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY

Distance learning is implemented at ITS in accordance with the Chancellor’s Circular regarding measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus disease (Covid-19) in the technology institute on November 15, 2020. In this circular, lectures at ITS will be carried out online through several platforms such as MyITS Classroom, E-Learning, Whatsapp Group, or other media. Several other activities have also adapted to the online system in their implementation, one of which is the graduation activity.

It has been counted three times that ITS has carried out graduation online, and for the chemistry department itself, this is only the second time. Implementation of the 123 graduation or commonly known as W-123 took placeon April 10-11, 2021. The chemistry department itself gets a schedule to carry out graduation on April 11, 2021. Graduation activities are divided into two processes, namely the graduation procession and thanksgiving. This thanksgiving activity was supervised by the HIMKA-ITS internal affairs department. The activities that took place were quite exciting and were not inferior to the implementation when offline. This activity contains interesting games prepared by the event committee and there are also several performances from the class and offerings from the committee which also enlivened the W-123 Kimia thanksgiving event. The implementation of the chemical W-123 thanksgiving went smoothly and hopefully for the next graduation activity it can run offline so that the implementation will be even more festive and the sense of kinship in the chemistry department will be tighter.
