Surabaya, IT Journalistic — Marking eight years of dedication from 2018 to 2026, the Department of Information Technology (DTI), Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), held the DTI Awards 2026 on Thursday, February 26, 2026. As part of the Semester Opening 2026 series, the event took place at the 2nd Floor Auditorium of Tower 2 ITS and was attended by students from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 cohorts, along with the DTI ITS academic community.
This year’s DTI Awards felt even more special in light of the department’s prestigious achievements. In addition to earning the “Excellent” (Unggul) accreditation, DTI ITS successfully strengthened its position by securing 2nd Place in the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at the institute level. Furthermore, DTI ITS was recognized as 1st Place Department in the Implementation of Case/Project-Based Learning and 1st Place Department with the Highest Graduate Performance.
Also present at the event were the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Technology and Intelligent Informatics (FTEIC) ITS, Dimas Anton Asfani, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., along with leaders from the Akademi Angkatan Laut (AAL). Distinguished guests included the Secretary of the Naval Academy Institution of the Indonesian Navy, Rear Admiral TNI Dr. Asep Iwa Soemantri, S.E., M.M., M.Tr.Opsla., Head of the Electronics Department of AAL, Colonel (E) Juliver H. Pardede, and Head of the Marine Department of AAL, Lieutenant Colonel (Marine) Akhmad Kharis Mukhyiddin.

DTI Awards 2026 served as an important momentum to recognize students who demonstrated outstanding performance. Awards were granted based on two main criteria: students from each cohort who achieved the highest Semester Grade Point Average (GPA), and students who accumulated the most achievements in various competitions at both national and international levels. The department’s “Excellent” accreditation status and internationalization orientation serve as a foundation to continuously encourage students to enhance their global competitiveness.

Cohort 2023:Nathan Kho Pancras, Michael Kenneth Salim, Agnes Zenobia Griselda Petrina, Acintya Edria Sudarsono, Tsaldia Hukma Cita, Dian Anggraeni Putri, Nayla Raissa Azzahra, Aisyah Rahmasari, Gallant Damas Hayuaji, Aryasatya Alauddin, Danendra Fidel Khansa, and Haidar Rafi Aqyla.

The organization of DTI Awards 2026 reflects DTI ITS’s tangible commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education through the promotion of academic excellence and internationalization. Moreover, the active involvement of FTEIC and AAL leadership demonstrates the strengthening of SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by fostering cross-institutional collaboration that supports student educational success.
