Asikin Ashar from IDX Surabaya delivers a public education session on financial literacy and stock investment to participants from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) at IDX Bursa Efek Surabaya, Tuesday (25/11).
Surabaya, IT Journalistic — A total of 90 students from the Information Technology Department (DTI) of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) participated in the Company Visit 2.0 program as an initiative to introduce the real-world implementation of information technology in the industry. The visit was conducted at two major institutions: Apple Developer Academy @UC and IDX Bursa Efek Surabaya, on Tuesday (25/11). This activity aimed to broaden students’ knowledge regarding digital innovation processes and the application of technology in the national financial system.
The visit began at Apple Developer Academy @UC, where students were introduced to the digital application development processes based on design thinking, collaborative innovation, and entrepreneurship. Students also received explanations about the roles of developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers in creating large-scale digital solutions. After the presentation, participants were taken on a tour to directly observe the ecosystem and facilities of the academy, which serves as an incubation space for the creative ideas of future tech talents.

The discussion was interactive, with students actively asking questions about system security implementation and career opportunities for information technology graduates in the capital market sector.
One of the participants, Muhammad Andrean Rizq Prasetio, shared his positive impression of the event. “The program was exciting and very insightful. We learned how the technology we study is directly applied in the real working world, both in global digital companies and in the financial industry. It truly opened new perspectives,” he said.
