International Young Leaders Summer Programme (IYLSP) 2026 – Cultural Identity and Preservation in Cities

 

 

Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman invites students and staff to participate in the International Young Leaders Summer Programme (IYLSP) 2026 with the theme:

“Cultural Identity and Preservation in Cities – Empowering Young Leaders with SDG 11”

Hosted at the UTAR Sungai Long Campus, this programme aims to bring together young leaders from different countries to explore innovative approaches to preserving cultural heritage while promoting sustainable urban development in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 11).


Programme Details:

 

  • Programme Dates: 19 – 26 August 2026
  • Time: 09.00 AM – 05.00 PM
  • Venue: UTAR Sungai Long Campus, Malaysia
  • Target Participants: Students and Staff

 

Participants will have opportunities to:

 

  • Exchange ideas and perspectives with international peers
  • Learn about cultural preservation and sustainable cities
  • Strengthen leadership and intercultural communication skills
  • Enhance regional and global collaboration networks

Airport pick-up and drop-off services will be provided between KLIA 1 and KLIA 2 on the arrival and departure dates.
