PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival 2026 – Global Youth Video Competition

United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) through United Nations Information Centre Jakarta invites young people around the world to participate in the PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival 2026, a global youth video competition that promotes diversity, inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and social cohesion through creative media.

Now entering its 18th edition, PLURAL+ provides a platform for young people to express their perspectives and become agents of positive social change through short video productions.

Eligibility:

• Open to students and youth aged up to 25 years old
• Individual or group participation is allowed

Video Requirements:

• Maximum duration: 5 minutes
• Formats may include documentary, animation, fiction, or other creative formats
• Videos may be produced in any language with English subtitles required

Themes Include:

• Migration
• Diversity and social inclusion
• Intercultural and interfaith dialogue
• Countering discrimination, hate speech, and disinformation

Awards & Opportunities:

Selected works will receive international recognition and may be showcased globally through United Nations networks and international platforms. Main award recipients may also have the opportunity to attend an international award ceremony at the end of 2026.
