Surabaya, ITS Global Engagement – National Formosa University (NFU) in Taiwan is pleased to invite students from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) to participate in the Formosa Talent Internship Program (Formosa TIP). This program offers a valuable opportunity for international exposure and practical experience in a vibrant academic environment.

Program Details:

Program Name: Formosa Talent Internship Program (Formosa TIP)
Host University: National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan
Program Focus: The internship aims to provide practical experience and enhance students’ academic profiles.
Program Period: Feb 1-Jun 30 2026

Eligibility:

Open to ITS students.
Highly motivated final-year students from partner universities (like ITS) who intend to apply for a Master’s program at NFU after completing the internship may be eligible for a tuition waiver.
Eligible students for tuition waiver must be nominated by their home university (ITS).

Tuition & Financial Information:

Standard Tuition Fee: NTD 36,000.
Scholarships: Currently, NFU is unable to offer general scholarships due to limited funding from the Ministry of Education, meaning all participants are generally required to pay the full tuition fee.
Tuition Waiver Opportunity: A tuition waiver may be available for outstanding final-year students from partner universities (like ITS) who plan to pursue a Master’s degree at NFU after the internship.
The final decision on tuition waivers will be made by the NFU committee after the application deadline, and a formal admission list will be officially announced.

Eligibility

This opportunity is open to:

ITS Diploma and S1 students from Batch 2022 & 2023
All S2 students
Applicants from any department relevant to the offered topics

Scanned Official Academic Transcript
Motivation Letter (1–2 pages)
Scanned Passport (valid for at one year from February 2026)
Valid English Proficiency Certificate (TOEFL ITP/iBT/IELTS/DET equal to CEFR B1)
- EFL is acceptable; TEFL from Dirpendik is not accepted

GCW/R2SEP/RSEP certificate
