Community Engagement for Development (CED) x Engineers in Action (EiA)

Dear ITS Students,

Community Engagement for Development is a community engagement program that utilizes social entrepreneurship approaches for stimulating socio-economic development and environmental sustainability in the local communities. This program provides structured opportunities for the participants to interact and work accross cultures in developing sound ideas for better future.

And this year, the annual Engineers in Action (EiA) is collaborating with CED!

The Requirements :

4. Academic Transcript (signed from BAAK)
5. Curriculum Vitae

Eligibilities :

1. Active students of D3/D4/S1/S1 Lintas Jalur (*), local students all semester and not joining KP/Magang/Internship during the program
2. Motivation Letter maximum 250 words
3. Have a good English proficiency (oral and written, minimum TOEFL score 477 or equivalent)
4. Minimum GPA 2.75
5. Hard worker, persistent, and punctual
6. Committed to join the whole program, either pre on-site and on-site project in Surabaya an Kediri.

(*) Environmental Engineering Students are prioritized

Timeline of this program :

Open Registration : 3 May 2019

Document Submission : 3-6 May 2019

Interview Selection : 9-10 May 2019

Participant Briefing : 14 May 2019

Pre On-Site Survey : 18 May 2019

On-Site Project : 17-26 July 2019

The foreign participants of this program will be from University of Notre Dame, Australia, University of Asia and Pacific, Philippines, and NTUST Taiwan.
